Boston Red Sox closer Aroldis Chapman has the most strikeouts by a reliever in MLB history.

Chapman struck out Denzer Guzman swinging for his 1,364th career strikeout in the ninth inning of Friday's 5-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

The eight-time All-Star came into the game tied with Hoyt Wilhelm for the all-time record.
