Analysis:Vaughn is likely being signed as additional depth for the preseason. Jawhar Jordan (hip), British Brooks (hand) and Noah Whittington (ankle) are all dealing with injuries, so Vaughn has a significantly easier path to preseason snaps. The former Cowboys running back last played NFL football during the 2024 regular season, logging 17 rushes for 70 yards over seven games.
