Bryson DeChambeau: Share of third in Indianapolis

Rotowire ·

DeChambeau fired a six-under 64 in the final round of LIV Golf Indianapolis to finish tied with Sergio Garcia for third.

Analysis:

DeChambeau opened the tournament nicely with a bogey-free, five-under 65 opening round. He gained only five strokes over the next two days but wrapped up the event with his best round of the tournament Sunday, finishing two strokes back of Indianapolis winner Michael La Sasso. Jon Rahm had already locked up the season-long Individual Championship, but DeChambeau will end the year second in the individual standings thanks to five third-place finishes and victories in both Singapore and South Africa. DeChambeau has arguably been the most outspoken supporter of LIV Golf since its inception in 2022, but what the future holds for the Crushers GC captain and the breakaway league remains to be seen following a tumultuous season.
