Thorbjornsen finished T37 at the BMW Championship with a one-under cumulative score.
Analysis:Thorbjornsen looked to have recaptured the form that saw him secure his maiden victory at the Rocket Classic in early August. He opened the BMW Championship with back-to-back, four-under 66 scores, but any chance of a second PGA Tour win crumbled with a five-over 75 third round. Thorbjornsen finished 10th in birdies made, driving distance and SG: Off-the-Tee and in the top-25 in GIR and SG: Approach. However, he lost 4.69 strokes with his putter, which ranked 45th out of the 50-man field in St. Louis. Thorbjornsen failed to move into the top-30 of the FedExCup Standings and will not participate in next week's TOUR Championship. However, by qualifying for the BMW Championship, he is guaranteed a spot in all Signature Events in 2027.
