Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said Brooks (undisclosed) is "close to full go" and taking reps, Mike Rodak of 247Sports.com reports.
Analysis:Brooks was in a non-contact jersey for Monday's practice, but DeBoer's statement only reaffirms that the receiver should be healthy for Bama's season opener. The incoming sophomore posted 32 receptions for 441 yards and two touchdowns last season. He and position teammate Noah Rogers (leg) are expected to return fully at some point in the coming week.
