Pinnick has won Washington State's starting quarterback job, Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review reports.
Analysis:Pinnick will start the year under center for the Cougars after transferring in from UC Davis this offseason. The 6-foot quarterback completed 240 passes for 3,206 yards and 32 touchdowns in the 2025 campaign, and he brings the most experience to Washington State's quarterback room. He beat out Owen Eshelman and Julian Dugger for the role.
