Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Could be activated Tuesday

Rotowire ·

Crawford (wrist) has rejoined the Mariners in Seattle and could be activated from the 10-day injured list as soon as Tuesday, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Crawford has been out for all of August due to left wrist inflammation, but he's nearly ready to roll after going 4-for-11 with one home run in three rehab games with Triple-A Tacoma. With Colt Emerson (wrist) and Brendan Donovan (concussion) shelved, Crawford should see plenty of playing time on the left side of the Mariners' infield, once he's activated.
