Pivetta (forearm) will resume a rehab assignment with Single-A Lake Elsinore on Tuesday, Annie Heilbrunn of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Analysis:Pivetta exited his first rehab appearance earlier this month when he felt tightness in his right elbow, but he's bounced back quickly and is ready to rejoin an affiliate for game action. The veteran right-hander has been out since mid-April due to a flexor strain, and given the length of his absence, he'll need multiple starts in the minors before rejoining the San Diego rotation.
