Analysis:Estevez retired four of the five hitters he faced while showing increased velocity, per Penfield. The veteran right-hander is expected to pitch again in Arizona before embarking on a rehab assignment as he works his way back from a right rotator cuff strain. Estevez has been shelved for virtually all of 2026, hitting the injured list April 1 due to a left foot contusion before suffering the shoulder injury during a rehab appearance May 6.
