Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd is signing a three-year, $45-million deal with the Carolina Panthers, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
The contract contains $25 million in guaranteed money.
The Panthers have combined to spend $165 million on Lloyd and edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, who agreed to a four-year, $120-million contract earlier Monday.
Lloyd is coming off his best season as pro under first-year Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile. He earned his first Pro Bowl nod after picking off a career-high five passes and returning one for a touchdown.
The Panthers' defense was middle of the pack last season, ranking 15th in points allowed and 16th in yardage surrendered. Linebacker Christian Rozeboom led the team in tackles with 122 but is a free agent.
A first-round pick in 2022, Lloyd started 61 games for the Jaguars, racking up 436 tackles and nine interceptions.
